Should Laurie Glanfield Retire?

See my post on the attempt to shift "old" employees at the Law Reform Commission because they are over 40 and been in the same job for 10 years or so. That is "good logic"! So applying that "logic" it follows that Mr Glanfield should retire immediately as Director General of the Department of Justice and Attorney General -- he is over 50 and held the same job since 1991.

  1. Very cheeky Sophia but logically it would make sense - if you assume that the premise of the argument is sound. But since when did logic ever matter to a bureaucrat or minister of the crown?
